World Audio Drama Day Is Coming On October 30th

In an effort to spread the word and educate the masses about the wonderful medium of audio drama, a group of folks has banded together and named October 30th as World Audio Drama Day. This date is the anniversary of Orson Welles' classic radio drama broadcast of The War of the Worlds. The motto of World Audio Drama Day is "A celebration of classic and modern storytelling". 2015 marks the 3rd year of this celebration which kicked off on the 75th anniversary of Welles' broadcast in 2013.

Let's share our love of audio drama with friends and family this month. And also take the time to go back and listen to some of our favorite shows from years past or discover a new show that we've never heard before. Audio drama is a powerful storytelling tool that we all love so let's show our support to the fine folks who create the amazing content we so greatly enjoy.
