Garrett Reads Presents How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Garrett Vandenberg, who many of you may know from The Ceiling Fan Podcast and the Odyssey Scoopcast, has launched a new project called Garrett Reads. The project features audio productions of children's storybooks read by him and occasional supplemental voices. These audio recordings are intended for kids to be able to read along with and even feature a bell chime for when it is time to turn the page.

While these are not audio drama necessarily, they are more than just an audiobook too. Each Storybook Read-Along features original music and sound effects and Vandenberg delivers charming character performances with unique voices as opposed to simple narration. These productions are free to access via a YouTube channel and a podcast feed.

Garrett's Storybook Read-alongs are recommended to be listened to on headphones with the book in hand, flipping pages when prompted by the bell. They can also be enjoyed without a book nearby, though, through simply listening to the stories on your medium of choice.

As a 2020 Christmas Special, Vandenberg has released a production of the Dr. Seuss holiday classic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It was read and produced by Garrett Vandenberg who also composed the music. Additional voices by Elise Vandenberg and Angela Vandenberg.
