As you are probably aware, we have been running the ATC Seneca Awards for the past few years to recognize the amazing work going on in the audio drama space. But now there's another opportunity for speculative fiction audio drama to be honored as well. As of January 1, 2021, the Realm Awards are now accepting submissions for three new categories, one of which is an Audio Drama category.
The Realm Awards are managed and operated by Realm Makers, an organization formed to support Christian authors of science fiction and fantasy. The awards were created to recognize the most excellent speculative fiction written by Christian authors. With these new Audio Fiction categories, audio drama producers can now participate along with the authors of speculative fiction books. There are three subcategories under Audio Fiction; Audio Book (full-length audiobooks), Short (audio productions of novellas, flash fiction, etc.) and Audio Drama (full-cast, scripted productions).
Your audio drama production must have been released in 2020 to be submitted for this year. Submission deadline is January 21, 2021. It must also be in one of the following speculative fiction genres; Science Fiction, Fantasy, Supernatural, Paranormal, or Horror. You can find the rest of the criteria at the Realm Awards website.
