Christmas at the Canteen - First Acts Productions
The backstory, from Glenn Hascall: "Back in the early 1990's I was invited to ride in a 1940's passenger steam train on a 150 mile voyage to a city where I once worked. We were treated like royalty on that trip and once we arrived at our destination we were treated to a theater troupe that shared a bit about a Canteen that served 6 million soldiers during World War II and all from the generosity of the people of the city. That experience caused me to research the history of the Canteen and it eventually led to the creation of an audio drama. I recently took it from the shelf, dusted it off and spent plenty of time revising after a couple of decades of life experience. I have recrafted the story to be a Christmas tale. This audio drama would likely weigh in at about 30 minutes and is set primarily in the 1940s."
