Our first episode of 2025 features the return of composer Jared DePasquale to the show. J.D. chats with Jared about some of the audio dramas he's scored in recent years such as The Victory of Joan of Arc and Freedom: William Bradford and the American Pilgrims. They also talk about how the scores for slice-of-life stories and epic historical dramas differ from each other, some of his favorite soundtracks, how the composer/sound designer relationship works for him, and a lot more. J.D. also responds to feedback from Jeremy and shares a handful of audio drama updates.
