Audio Drama for St. Patrick's Day

There are probably some great Irish-themed stories in the family-friendly audio drama world. Stories set in Ireland or ones featuring leprechauns, corned beef, and pots of gold. But rather than recommending any of those, we thought it best to share some quality audio drama productions on the life of the man for whom this holiday was created.

So if you're looking for some great audio drama for St. Patrick's Day, we've got you covered with three dramatized biographies of Patrick from Adventures in Odyssey, The Merry Beggars, and Augustine Institute.

Adventures In Odyssey is the original one of the three. First released in 1998, the two-part "Saint Patrick: A Heart Afire," which is included on album #31: Days to Remember, has become a fan favorite over the years.

In 2017, Augustine Institute released their 8-episode audio drama on the life of Patrick as part of the AIR Theatre line. "The Trials of Saint Patrick" is a nearly 3.5-hour epic production.

The most recent production is from The Saints, a series from The Merry Beggars. The 5-episode run titled "Patrick of Ireland" was originally released in 2023 and totals about an hour in length.
